Display zur Veranschaulichung von Spuren und Ablagerungen der erhaltenden Macht, 2017, Clay, Wood, Steel
On the occasion of the yearly exhibition of our university I built a display containing 100 kg of clay free for the visitors of the exhibition to use. For the duration of the exhibition (7 days) my only job was to keep this organic mass alive (moist) and observe how it evolves. I wanted to supply the visitors with a simple and hierarchy less moment to give shape to their current surrounding. Phone numbers were exchanged, poems written, body parts and faces formed, walls were built, other artworks destroyed and clay fights broke out. The next day I found my display as a remaining piece of decisive chaos. Rhizom like the gestures people executed spread through the whole building.
